Biography
My Name is Jiguang Wei (Mr)，I got my Ph D degree at Zhejiang University in Plant Pathology, Now I have been a professor for ten years in plant pathology at Guangxi University, Guangxi, China. I has served as a PI for three research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Among them, the project entitled “Study on DNA barcodes of Pythium” is currently active with promising data. Other projects, including the most recent one entitled “Study on DNA Barcode of Pestalotiopsis” were completed with satisfactory results. I am the past Vice President for the Guangxi Plant Pathology Society. I served as the Guangxi Representative for Dow AgroSciences from 1996 to 1997. I am currently serving as the council member for the Chinese Mycological Society, executive council member for the Guangxi Plant Pathology Society, and committee member of Special Division of Plant Pathogenic Fungi within the Chinese Mycological Society. I am a member of the American Phytopathological Society. I published more than 120 papers including 28 English papers.
