Biography
Prof. Anthony Ting-Yuk Wu, GBS, JP, Honorary Professor of Faculty of Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Peking Union Medical College Hospital, is a Standing Committee Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People‘s Political Consultative Conference and a member of the State Council’s Medical Reform Leadership Advisory Committee of the PRC. Anthony sits on the boards of various public companies and serves as Chief Advisor to Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ. He served as Chairman of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority ("HA") from 2004 to 2013 and is the longest serving Chairman in HA’s history. He is a graduate of Wah Yan College, Hong Kong and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star ("GBS") and appointed as Justice of the Peace (“JP”) for his distinguished service to Hong Kong.
