Biography
WEI Dezhou is a dean and professor in the College of Resources and Civil Engineering at Northeastern University, China. He was born in Nanyang city, Henan province, on October 31, 1956. He received his Ph.D degree from Northeastern University, China in 1990. Now, he is a member of Steering Committee of Ministry of Education in Mining Speciality’s Teaching, Academic Committee of National Key Laboratory in Mineral Processing Science and Technology (Beijing General Research Institute of Mining & Metallurgy), Mineral Processing Academic Committee of The Nonferrous Metals Society of China, Mineral Processing Academic Committee of China Mining Association, etc. He is also a member of Editorial Board in Journal of Northeastern University (Natural Science), Metal Mine, Nonferrous Metals Science and Engineering, etc. Currently, he is State Council Expert for Special Allowance and Academic Leader of Liaoning Province Higher Education. Up to now, he has published more than 260 papers in various international journals and conference proceedings, of which above 40 papers were cited by SCI and above 150 papers were cited by EI. More than ten patents are in examination and authorization.
