1. Committee and Broad Memberships (1) Committee Member of Genetic Mineralogy and Prospecting Mineralogy Professional Committee of Chinese Society for Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry; (2) Committee Member of New Mineral and Mineral Named Professional Committee of Chinese Society for Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry; (3) Committee Member of Microbeam Analysis and Test Professional Committee of Chinese Society for Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry; (4) Committee Member of Nano Geology Professional Committee of Geological Society of China; (5) Editorial Board Member of “Chinese Geological Education”; (6) Committee Member of Review Expert Committee of “Land and Resources”; (7) Committee Member of Geology Teaching Material Advisory Committee of Chinese Geological Education Society. 2. Honor and Awards Professor Huang Fei won 16 awards of teaching achievement prizes from both Northeastern University and Liaoning Province. Her courses "Physical Geology" won “Liaoning Province Quality Course” in 2008 and “Liaoning Province Quality Resource Course in 2014. She won “Northeastern University 8th My Favorite Teacher” in 2012. And she won “Northeastern University Teaching Masters Award” and “Northeastern University 8th My Favorite Teacher” in 2014. The students she supervised won the national scholarships and awards of science and technology competition of province or university many times. 3. Research Interests Genetic mineralogy and prospecting mineralogy; ore deposit geochemistry; mineral resource evaluation; theory and technology of mineral resources usage. Professor Huang Fei has carried out the research of polymetallic deposit genesis of magma, hydrothermal, sedimentary metamorphic, skarn, sedimentary manganese and sea sulfide deposits, and the research of Evaluation and utilization technology of resources. The genetic mineralogy theory research is her basis which is combined closely with the geology prospecting. Professor Huang Fei has got a great achievement in mineral resource utilization by using genetic mineralogy theory and experimental methods. In nano-micro mineralogy research and experimental mineralogy research, her work is international top. Her research has good effect in both domestic and abroad. She was invited many times to give the theme presentations in international and domestic academic conference. 4. Research Funding Professor Huang Fei was the leader of 3 funds from National Natural Science Foundation of China, more than ten science and technology programs from Ministry of Land and Resources of China, Liaoning Province and Shenyang, and many entrusted service projects from enterprises and institutions. 5. Publications and Patent Professor Huang Fei published more than 70 articles in “Chinese Science Bulletin”, “Acta Geologica Sinica (English Edition)”, “Spectroscopy and Spectral Analysis”, “Acta Geologica Sinica”, “Earth Science Frontiers” and some international conferences. Some of these articles were included by SCI or EI. She has authorized three scientific invention patents. 6. Cooperation and Communication Professor Huang Fei was invited to do some academic communication in the University of Queensland, the University of Melbourne, Monash University, University of Tokyo, Nagoya University, and Eotvos Lorand University etc.
