Biography
Li Yan-jun, Male, Professor at Northeastern University. Born in November 1972, Chifeng city, Inner Mongolia. Major Research Direction: Benefication technology for complex refractory iron ores. Teaching & Scientific Research: In education, mainly responsible for the professional courses of undergraduates “Methods on Benefication Researchâ€, postgraduate courses “Dewatering of Materialsâ€, and guide cognition practice of concentrating mill for undergraduate students. At present he had guided over 20 master graduate students. As chief editor, he had edited the book “Technology and Fundamental for Coal Based Reduction-Magnetic Separation of Complex Refractory Iron Oreâ€, also participated in editing the textbook “Experiment Research Methodsâ€, “Modern Iron Ore Beneficiationâ€. In recent years, Professor Li as the project leader had undertaken over 30 scientific research projects, such as the national natural science foundation of China’s project “Modified Zeolite Encapsulated Nanometer Magnetic Composite Materials and Its Electromagnetic Response Behaviorâ€, the National 863 plans project “Coal Based-Efficient Separation Technology of Lingyang Iron Oreâ€, the China geological survey’s project “Efficient and Cleaning Utilization Technology Research on Oolitic Hematiteâ€, the projects from relevant enterprises “Expand Experimentation Study of Suspension Roasting-Magnetic Separation on Preconcentration Tailings From Magnetic Pulley in Yanqianshan†, “Development of Coal Based Reduction-Magnetic Separation Technology for Lingyang Iron Oreâ€, “Research of Coal Based Reduction Technology for Fine Grained Hematiteâ€, etc. As the main scientific research personnel to participate in international cooperation project “Key Technology of Mineral Processing to Increase Iron Ore Reservesâ€, enterprise project “Technology Research on Flotation Process for Donganshan Carbonate-Containing Refractory Iron Ore†and so on. In The Chinese Journal of Nonferrous Metals, Journal of Northeastern University (Natural Science), Metal Mine, Non-ferrous Mining and Metallurgy and other magazines had published more than 20 academic articles. 5 authorized national invention patents had been obtained.
