Biography
Yi Li, female, was born on 17th Jan 1972 in Shengyang, Liaoning, China, professor at School of Resources and Civil Engineering, Northeastern University, member of American Concrete Institute. She received a PhD in Structural engineering from Northeastern University in 2003. She was selected as a member of “Education Ministry’s New Century Excellent Talents Supporting Plan†in 2012 and included in “the fourth batch of Liaoning province talents (thousand level)â€. Besides, she was invited to the centre of advanced materials and structure in National University of Singapore as a visiting scholar in 2011. She was awarded "Excellent teacher" "Outstanding Communist Party Member" and "Woman Pace-setter" by Northeastern University.
Research Interest
Her main research interests are reliability evaluation for existing structure and fiber reinforced concrete.To be specific, they include maintenance decision and health diagnosis of construction, bridge and time- dependent reliability of existing structure, durability of concrete materials and so on.
