Education:   2000-2003: Ph.D., Vegetable physiology and molecular technology; Dissertation topic: Genetic transformation of carrot(Daucus carota L.)with ETEC colonization factor antigen gene CS3 and construction of virus-based gene cector for expressing LTB-ST fused gene.   1997-2000: M.S., Vegetable breeding and physiology; Thesis: Analysis of molecular marker linkage of genes encoding traits in bolting time between a cross from B.oleracea var. capitata × B.oleracea var. alboglabra.   1991-1995: B.S., Department of Horticulture, Henan Vocation and Technology Teachers' College, Horticulture Science
Research Interest
The formation and regulation mechanism of aldehydes biosynthesis in cucumber fruits; glutaredoxin (GRX) gene which participate in the biotic, abiotic stress and to the resistance to the Botrytis cinerea in cucumber; gene cloning of important agriculture traits of cucumber; The genetic diversity of vegetable germplasm resources.
