Gao Xiao

Biography

Mr. Gao Xiang, born in Shannxi Province in April 1960, is Professor and doctoral mentor.He is a member of the Shannxi Crop Varieties Examining and Approving Committee and the Professional Group of Wheat Varieties Examining and Approving. Currently he serves as the first vice-chairman of the Crop Science Society of Shannxi Province, director of the Crop Science Society of China and Shannxi Society of Agronomy, executive director of Shannxi Life Science Society, Agricultural Adviser of Xianyang City, member of the editorial boards at Acta Agriculturae Boreali-occidentalis Sinia and Journal of Triticeae Crops

Breeding of new wheat varieties; principles and methods of wheat breeding; molecular genetics of wheat quality; the application of bio-technology on wheat.
