Biography
Dr. F.Z. Liuis University Professor of Poultry Nutrition in Northwest A & F University. He received a B.S. and Ph. D degrees (Poultry Science) from the University of Northwest Agriculture in 1988 and 1996. He was an Assistant Professor at the Northwest A & F University in 1996. He advanced through the professional ranks and was promoted to University Professor in 2001. During his career he has published more than 150 papers in refereed journals and has guided over 40 students to M.S. and Ph.D. degrees.   Dr. F.Z. Liuis a member of World's Poultry Science Association. He serves as Reviewer for Poultry Science and Archives of Animal Nutrition. Dr. F.Z. Liuhas obtained three Award in poultry science and technology of Shaanxi Province.   Dr. F.Z. Liuconducts research focused on broilers and laying hens to determine nutrient requirements and interactions, to evaluate new or modified feed ingredients, to compare feeding and management systems. Emphasis is placed on relationship of nutrition to carcass or egg quality. In recent years Dr. F.Z. Liu's research has focused upon improving immune function of broilers and laying hens by micronutrients and upon relationship between nutrients and gene expression.
