Lu Xiangping

Biography

Lu Xiangping, male, born in March, 1957, researcher. Has ever been director of Research office of rural development, Institute of agricultural economy of Shaanxi province; superintendent of Loess Plateau managing research institute of Shaanxi province; superintendent of research institute of agricultural scientific technical information of Shaanxi province; director of scientific technical information centre of Yangling demonstration district. From 1994 to enjoy the governmental special subsidy authorized by State Department，awarded the title of ‘National young and middle aged expert with outstanding contribution’ in 1998. And now, in social positon as a committee member of Decision making consaltative committee of Shaanxi province, vice-chairman of Acadamy of economics of Shaanxi province, etc.

Research Interest

Ecological Management of Loess Plateau, Agricultural Comprehensive Development. With well-knit research and significant effect in regional development and managing strategy, construction of sustainable agriculture development pattern, diversity of biological resource, high efficiency development of low-value land, etc.
