Biography
Wenjie Yang ,male,was born in February ,1965,Jia xian County,Shaanxi Province,China. He is Professor and Master graduate student tutor at College of Economics and Management, Northwest A ï¹ F University. He received his Bachelor ã€Master and PHD.degrees from the Northwest Aï¹ F University of China in 1988, 1996,2006 in agriculture and forestry economics and management respectively. He worked as a teaching assistant and an Assistant Professor at the Department of Forestry Economics and Management ,Northwest University of Forestry in 1999. He joined Northwest Aï¹ F University faculty in 1999, and became Associate Professor in 2000 ,Master degree Tutor in 2004,and Professor in 2008.He was in Auburn University as a visitor Scholar from Jan.to Apr.in 2005. Wenjie Yang was the director of Accounting department, College of Economics and Management, Northwest A ï¹ F University from2005 to2008. His research interests are the economic and policy aspects of natural resource management. Specifically he is interested in forest property rights, China's land use converstion (from agricultural to forestry) , forest investment and finance, and forestry development strategy.
