Biography

EDUCATION   1997-2002 Ph. D in soil science. Dissertation title :“Study on hydrological effect of artificial seabuckthorn forest in loess hilly region”, Northwestern Science & Technology University of Agriculture and Forestry, China   1990-1993 Master Degree in ecology. Thesis title: “A study on water and heat effect of artificial forests in loess hilly region”, Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Chinese Academy of Science   1986-1990 B.A in Department of Soil and Water Conservation, Northwestern Science & Technology University of Agriculture and Forestry, China   

Research Interest

2005 ~ present, Prof., Institute of Soil and Water Conservation. Main study area includes importance of water condition on afforestation, watershed management on sediment dischage and vegetation resoration, effect of natural vegetation restoration processing on soil environment,artificial forest stablility and sustainable development. 2000 ~ 2004, associate Prof. Institute of Soil and Water Conservation. Main study area includes assessment of environmental reaction on ecological restoration in watershed, mechanism of vegetation on soil and water conservation. 1990 ~ 1999, Assisant Prof., Institute of Soil and Water Conservation. Main study area includes effect of vegetation on soil and water conservation, hydrological effect of artificial forest.
