Wu Yanhui
Professor
Department of Aeronautical Fluid Machinery
Northwestern Polytechnic University
China
Biography
Yanhui Wu received a B.S. in Thermal Engineering (1995), a M.S. in Fluid Mechanics and Engineering (2001), a Ph.D. in Aeronautical and Astronautical propulsion theory and engineering (2004), all from Northwestern Polytechnical University (NWPU). She joined the faculty following a two-year post-doctoral position at NWPU. She was appointed Associated Professor in School of Power and Energy in 2006, and was promoted to the position of full professor in 2011
Research Interest
unsteady flow in turbo-machines, which include both experimental and computational research. Her major research falls in basic issues on aerodynamic instability in compressors, which have been persistently funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
