Biography

Aged 71. Appointed as an independent non-executive director of the Company in June 2004 and is the Chairman of the Nomination Committee and a member of the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee of the Company. Ms TAM is currently an independent non-executive director of Guangnan (Holdings) Limited, Minmetals Land Limited, Nine Dragons Paper (Holdings) Limited, Sinopec Kantons Holdings Limited, Tong Ren Tang Technologies Company Limited, Wing On Company International Limited, Macau Legend Development Limited and China Shenhua Energy Company Limited, all the shares of which are listed on the Stock Exchange. Ms TAM was educated at London University. She qualified as a barrister-at-law at Gray’s Inn, London
