Biography
Tzi Bun Ng received a Postdoc from of Medicine, University of California, USA and a PhD in Biochemistry from the Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. He is currently Professor of Biochemistry, School of Biomedical Sciences, china. He began working on trematode biology and systematics, with emphasis on echinostomes. During his post-doctoral stage at the University of Puerto Rico, USA he focused on immunological aspects of host-parasite interactions. Currently, his research is focused on the immunological interactions is the experimental model Echinostoma-rodent and other intestinal helminth infections. He has written and/or edited more than 630 works including original research articles in peer-reviewed journals, reviews, book chapters, and books more than 50 communications to national and international scientific meetings. He received seven times Teacher of the Year awards from Faculty of Medicine, CUHK.
