Biography
Xu Shizhe Professor of Zhejiang University Department of Earth Sciences He was born in Taizhou, Zhejiang, on October 2, 1936 and graduated from Changchun College of Geology in 1956. Professor Xu Shizhe was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Science. He is one of the first to apply the boundary element method in geophysical exploration. Xu Shizhe has long been engaged in geophysical research and teaching work and has numerous outstanding achievements in the field of computational geophysics.He creatively proposed the method of constructing conformal transformation of coordinate net to correct the impact of terrain of geophysical field.
