Biography
Dr. Hwan is currently the Supreme Advisor of SinoPac Securities, Taiwan; the company at which he was appointed Chairman from May 2012 to June 2015. He is also a chair professor at Da-Yeh University, Changhua, Taiwan and was an adjunct professor at National Cheng-Chi University for 15 years where he received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Dr. Hwan is well-known in Taiwan’s financial industry, possessing over 30-years of experience in investment, venture capital and enterprise evaluation, and service management. Before his career at SinoPac Securities, he was an official in the Ministry of Finance, Director of the Board and General Manager of the Taipei Exchange, and President of Taiwan Securities Association. Dr. Hwan received his Ph.D. of Business from Takushoku University, Japan and his Master of Economics from University of Tsukuba, Japan.
