Prasad Siddavatam

Biography

 Dr. Siddavatam is a computational biologist developing software solutions for processing next generation sequencing data and the analysis and interpretation of such data. His research interest includes 1) high-throughput data integration and exploitation of 'omics' data for systematic understanding of molecular mechanisms of complex biological problems through computational and statistical applications, and 2) systems modeling of infectious diseases using network graphical models to identify the biomarkers of infection. He earned his Ph.D. from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, in 2012 in Computational Biology and a M.Sc. in 2000 in Plan Pathology from CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India.
