Biography
LIU Xinyuan is a Professor of Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, hanghai, China. Research Areas: cancer(the most important keyword); super Interferon therapy; targeting gene-viroTherapy; oncolytic virus; gene therapy; targeting cancer stem cell therapy; organ specific cancer therapy Research Interests: Our major interest and our aim is to cure the cancer patients and also to control the viral disease especial the hepatitis B or C disease. It is possible because that we have a super interferon by which the therapeutic effect for hepatitis B in clinic has reached 62% and hope to be more higher, while the regular protocol for hepatitis B disease treatment is about 30%. For cancer therapy, super interferon has rescued many cancer patients. In experimental mice model, the targeting dual gene-virotherapy can eliminate all the xenograft tumor in many diverse cancers. Therefore it is possible for us to complete our aim.
