Biography
Qiu Weiliu, male, born in Chongqing, specializing in oral and maxillofacial surgery, is currently honorary dean of the School of Stomatology, Shanghai Second Medical University; professor and doctoral supervisor of The Ninth People's Hospital attached to Shanghai Second Medical University; member of the Experts Panel in the third disciplinary evaluation of Academic Degree Committee of the State Council; member of the Post Doctorate Evaluation Committee; and Committee Member of Directory Commission of National Clinical Medicine. He is also vice president of the Chinese Stomatological Association (CSA), director of Chinese Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, CSA, director of Head and Neck Tumor Surgery, China Anticancer Association (CACA), academician of International College of Dentist, and member of the American Society of Temporomandibular Joint Surgeons. Qiu was awarded the title of “National Advanced Teacher” in 1989 and “Shanghai Municipal Model Worker” in 1997.
