Biography
Professor Xiang-ping Wu received his Ph.D. in Beijing Observatory (now named NAOC) in 1989. He was a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese academy of science, and Observatoire de Paris before joining the faculty of NAOC as the principle investigator of the cosmology group in 1999. He was elected to Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2011.
