James Th. Loudon

Biography

 James founded Loudon Far East in 1994 based in the Netherlands and two years later established the Loudon China company based in Shanghai. James has built up in Europe, USA, Japan and China an extensive network of executive relationships in the pharmaceutical patent prescription, OTC and nutrition businesses. James worked for four years for Gist Brocades (now DSM) (1990-1994) as Managing Director of the Food Ingredients division with worldwide leadership in yeast and enzyme related products. His last executive position with Sandoz was in Berne was Senior VP of the Medical Nutrition Business worldwide (1986-1990). In 1980, James became president of Sandoz Japan orchestrated the launch of 2 major products and built up an independent Japan sales/distribution network. In 1979 James became for the Board of Management of Sandoz in Basle in Switzerland the corporate liason officer for the Latin American region. James began his career with Organon (1967-1969) The Netherlands. Then joined Sandoz (now Novartis) as market research manager, and finally as president of the Sandoz domestic company in The Netherlands.
