Mark Wagstaff

Biography

 Prior to setting up MW Healthcare Consulting in 2014, Mark worked for over 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry , his senior management roles being with GlaxoSmithkline and Reckitt Benckiser Pharmaceuticals.   His last role prior to becoming a consultant was as Regional director for Africa, Middle East and Turkey and he has also held senior commercial and BD roles in Asia ( India, Indonesia and Singapore) and Africa ( Nigeria and South Africa) He is a highly dynamic and results-oriented professional, with extensive commercial success across a number of emerging markets. Mark has been trusted to deliver major change initiatives across a number of challenging emerging markets. He has a very pragmatic approach to problem solution that enables the focus to remain on the core objectives of an organisations rather than barriers to success.   Specialist skills – Commercial strategy and implementation including salesforce effectiveness, launch strategy, branded generics,Business development including acquisitions and divestments, Change & project management including restructuring and post M&A integration. Mark has qualifications in both project and change management.   Geographic areas – Asia, Middle East and Turkey, Sub Sahara Africa.
