Dr. Yang focuses on mechanisms for substrate recognition and regulation of epigenetic enzymes as well as modification regulation mechanism of enzyme itself in field. Representative achievements: For the first time discover dual substrate binding sites of histone demethylase LSD2, providing a platform for design of specific inhibitors of histone demethylase. She has been funded by NSFC program, a project sponsored by Shanghai Nature Fund and supported by Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program with research funds of RMB 530 thousand; publish 13 SCI indexed papers in Cell Research, Cell Cycle，Mol Cell, etc.
