Biography
Zhang Wen (1971-) associate professor. Master of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, research assistant in Institute of Biochemistry of CAS and UC Berkeley. Mr. Zhang focuses on structural and functional studies of ribosome including structural dynamics and mechanism for antibiotics resistance based on structural biology and bioinformatics. Representative achievements: solved the first structure of dynamic intermediate state at high-resolution during translation elongation; got two research grants from 973 Program and NSFC and the total amount is over RMB 1 million; applied for an international patent and got approved; publish papers in Science, Nature Struct Mol Biol, etc. as the first author which have been cited over 1200 times.
