Biography

-Aug 2014- present Assistant Professor(Tenure-track), School of Life Science and Technology, ShanghaiTech University -Sept 2013- present Research Associate Professor,Principle Investigator, iHuman Institute, ShanghaiTech University Focused on GPCR signaling in stem cell development and cancer -Sept 2012- Sept 2013 Scientific Consultant, RuiYi Inc., La Jolla, CA, USA -Aug 2011- Sept 2012 Founder and Director, R&D RuiYi Biopharmaceutics Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai, China Focused on biologic drug development targeting on GPCR -July 2006- June 2011 Ph.D. in Biology The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI), La Jolla, California, USA -Sept 2002- July 2006 B.S. in Biological Sciences University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China Research Interests Research interests include deciphering the signaling pathways of G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) in human cells, with an emphasis on GPCR signaling in developmental biology. My lab will employ the cutting-edge technologies in GPCR area and leverage extensive collaborations with other research groups to explore the critical involvement of GPCRs in embryogenesis and tissue homeostasis regulation, and the direct relevance of dysregulation of GPCR signaling to numerous human diseases.
