Biography
Hao Wang earned his Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University in 2015, and his bachelor's and master's degree in Mathematics, Beihang University in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He has participated in research internship opportunities at ExxonMobil Corporate Strategic Research Lab, Mitsubishi Electric Research Lab, and GroupM R&D Department. Hao Wang joined School of Information Science and Technology at ShanghaiTech University as an Assistant Professor, PI in January, 2016.
Research Interest
Design, analysis, and implementation of efficient and reliable algorithms for solving large-scale optimization problems with applications in machine learning.
