Biography
Suting Hong is an assistant professorã€PI at ShanghaiTech University, since August 2016. Professor Hong received her Ph.D. in economics from Drexel University in 2014, and Bachelor in Economics from Nanjing University in 2006.
Research Interest
Dr. Hong’s research interests are in industrial organization, applied econometrics, and applied microeconomic theories. She is currently working on two strands of research. One strand looks into how competition of venture capital firms affects performances of start-ups. The other strand evaluates the effect of recent regulation changes in the US credit card industry.
