Biography
Dr. Ziyu Shao received the B.S. and M.E. degrees in electrical engineering from Peking University, Beijing, China, and the Ph.D. degree in information engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shatin, N.T., Hong Kong. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor , PIwith the School of Information Science and Technology at ShanghaiTech University, Shanghai, China. Prior to joining ShanghaiTech, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Institute of Network Coding, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shatin, N.T., Hong Kong. His research interests include distributed algorithm and system design, network coding, network optimization, cloud computing, mobile computing, and smart grid.
