Biography
Jing Chai is the Assistant Director of Chinese Language Program, Instructor of Chinese Language at NYU Shanghai. Prior to joining NYU Shanghai, she worked for NYU’s Global Academic Center in Shanghai and taught in the East Asia Languages and Literatures Department at Washington and Lee University. She worked in the area of internet and technology-based language learning and had an enthusiasm in collaborating modern times topics into her teaching through student engaged activities and field trips. She holds her MA and BA in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL) from East China Normal University.
Research Interest
Professor Chai has presented work on Curriculum Design of Practical Chinese Course on International Conference on Chinese Language Pedagogy. She is also the co-editor of Practical Chinese Textbook, Workbook and Vocabulary Book of NYU Shanghai.
