Biography
Liu Chang is a visual artist based in Brooklyn, New York. She holds her master degree (M.P.S) from Interactive Telecommunication Program of New York University. Liu’s practices range from generative arts to interactive installation. She currently focuses on computational portraiture and algorithmic arts related to nature, pattern, design, climate change, etc. Her mediums are mostly interactive installation, prints on paper, video, and continuously expand to others, such as artist’s book, sculpture, performance, etc. Currently, Liu Chang is a research fellow at NYUITP for 2016 2017 academic year. She founded her art&design studio in 2011, named Hibanana Studio. Her personal and studio’s artwork have been frequently exhibited in China, the United States, Europe, and South America.
