Biography
Vladas Sidoravicius comes to us from the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is especially well known for his work on discrete probability, statistical mechanics, percolation theory, random media, and particle systems. He is a longstanding research partner with colleagues at NYU’s Courant Institute of Mathematics.
