Biography
Poon Ka Yeung , has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of the Company since August 2005. Mr. Poon obtained his bachelor’s degree in mathematics with minor in economics and marketing from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1989 and was further admitted to the MBA degree by the University of Hull, United Kingdom, in 1996. Mr. Poon has been appointed as an Honorary Institute Fellow of the Asia-Pacific Institute of Business of the Chinese University of Hong Kong since April 2002. He has been teaching marketing-related subjects for the master’s degree in science program, MBA program and Global Executive MBA program (OneMBA) of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Since June 2008, he has been appointed as visiting Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In addition, Mr. Poon has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of Great Eagle Holdings Limited (the shares of which are listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange) since March 2016.
