Biography
After earning his PhD degree in Sichuan University in 1994, he was promoted to a Professor in Sichuan University in 1995. He was a visiting professor of Max-Planck Institute for Polymer Research (Germany) with the support of DAAD in 1999, and in the University of Nottingham (UK) in 2002 with the support of the Royal Society, respectively. He is the Honorary President of China Flame Retardant Society, the Vice President of Degradable Plastic Committee of CPPIA, Associate Director of National Technical Committee for Standardization of Bio-Based and Biodegradable Products, a Director of Chinese Ecomaterials Branch Society and a senior member of Chinese Materials Research Society. He is also a member of Review Panel of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and a member of the Science and Technology Committee of Ministry of Education.
