Biography
Mr. Frank Shu is Vice President - Research & Development, SSD System Technology and VCT of Silicon Motion Technology Corp. Mr. Shu has more than 20 years of experience in the storage and PC system industry. Before joining Silicon Motion, Mr. Shu was the VP of R&D in charge of SSD testing at Allion Test Lab Inc. Mr. Shu also worked for Microsoft and played a key role in defining and developing the software storage stack for the Windows operating system. Prior to Microsoft, Mr. Shu worked for Fujitsu, Seagate and Everex. Mr. Shu has a BS in Electronic Engineering from Nanjing Aeronautical Institute in China and an MS degree in Computer Science from the Oregon Graduate Institution of Science & Technology
