Yongsheng Ma

Biography

Mr. Ma is a professor-level senior engineer with a doctor’s degree and Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering. In April 2002, he was appointed as Chief Geologist of Sinopec Southern Exploration and Development Company of Sinopec Corp. In April 2006, he was appointed as Executive Deputy President and Chief Geologist of Sinopec Southern Exploration and Development Company. In January 2007, he became President and Secretary of the Party Committee of Sinopec Southern Exploration and Development Company. In March 2007, he was appointed as President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Sinopec Exploration Company of Sinopec Corp. In May 2007, he served as Deputy Commander-in-chief of Sichuan-East Gas Pipeline Project Command, and President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Sinopec Exploration Company. In May 2008, he served as the Deputy Director of Sinopec Exploration & Production Department of Sinopec Corp. and Deputy Commander-in-chief of Sichuan-East Gas Pipeline Project Command. In July 2010, he was appointed as Deputy Chief Geologist of Sinopec Corp. In August 2013, he was appointed as Chief Geologist of Sinopec Corp. In December 2015, he was appointed as Vice President of Sinopec Group.In January 2017, he was appointed a member of the party committee of Sinopec Group.​
