Mr. Fong Chung

Biography

Mr. Fong Chung, Mark, the former President of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Fong has 30 years of experience in the accounting profession and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Fong is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of New China Life Insurance Co., Ltd.and Macau Legend Development Ltd, both listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, and a Non-Executive Director of Worldsec Limited, a company listed on London Stock Exchange, and an Executive Director in China development of Grant Thornton International Ltd..

Currently, the total issued share capital of Kantons Holdings is 2,486.16 million shares of which 1,500 million shares are held by Sinopec Kantons International Limited, representing 60.34% and 986.16 million shares are public float, representing 39.66%. The entire share capital of Sinopec Kantons International Limited is held by China International United Petroleum & Chemical Co.Ltd.(Unipec), a wholly owned subsidiary of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (“Sinopec”). Sinopec Kantons Holdings Limited is a storage, logistics and trading company with two wholly-owned subsidiaries: Sinomart KTS Development Limited and Kantons International Investment Limited. The company’s principal activities are: operation of crude oil loading and unloading, storage and transportation facilities, LNG shipping and oil & petrochemical trading.
