Biography
Dr. Li H H is a Professor in phytochemistry and molecular biology at Guangdong Key Lab of Biotechnology for Plant Development, College of Life Sciences, South China Normal University, since 2005. Before current position, he worked as a researcher for 7 years in Japan at Kagoshima University, Japan Science and Technology Corporation (Plant Ecochemicals Project), University of Tokyo (Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biosciences) and Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (Frontier Research Programs, RIKEN). He had 2-year postdoc experience in USA at Eleanor Roosevelt Institute for Cancer Research, and 8-year industrial experience in Canada as technical manager for a food company. He received his Master degree in plant physiology from South China Normal University and PhD degree in agriculture from Kagoshima University, Japan. He published more than 50 research articles in plant physiology and molecular biology, allelochemicals, and natural food and medicinal chemistry.
