Biography
Dr. Shuang Li got her Bachelor and Ph.D. degrees from the Tsinghua University. And now she works as an Associate Prof. in the School of Bioscience and Bioengineering, South China University of Technology in Guangzhou, China. At the moment, she focused on (1) metabolic flux analysis and regulation to increase the yields and productivity of bio-based chemicals; and (2) enzyme engineering for industrial applications, especially for the fine chemicals biosynthesis. She was awarded as the Pearl River New-Star of Science & Technology (2012).
Research Interest
His main research interests are Metabolic engineering; Biofuels; Fermentation; Protein evolution; Biosynthesis of fine chemicals.
