Biography
XiaoLei Zhu is a Professor and Master's Supervisor in School of Architecture, State key Laboratory of Subtropical Building Science, South China University of Technology(SCUT), PR. China. His research interests focus on buildings design for cultural and performing arts, post-occupancy evaluation(POE), residential planning(Affordable Housing), campus planning and environment-behavior studies on the elderly living environment. He has published articles on international peer-reviewed journals, such as Intelligent Buildings International, and many Chinese Academic Journals. He is a architecture teacher directing several courses like hotel design, architect business, architectural drawing and Environment-behavior studies. He has led several research projects on GuangZhou’s urban space and china's social security housing fund by National Science Foundation of China(NSFC) and State Key Laboratory of Subtropical Building Science. As a architect, he has finished many construction projects and international competition projects.
