Biography
Xiaozhong Shi is currently working as Professor in the School of Bioscience and Bioengineering at the South China University of Technology, China. He had done his postdoctoral training in UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas after Ph.D graduation in 2002, and then he was recruited to the Medical School at the University of Minnesota as an Assistant Professor in 2007. He had joined the faculty member in the School of Bioscience and Bioengineering at the South China University of Technology in 2016. His research is related to the transcriptional regulation of gene expression, with the primary interest in the regulatory mechanisms during skeletal muscle differentiation.
