Biography

Chun Cheng received graduate in Physics (National Base Class) from Department of Physics, Huazhong Normal University(1998-2002) and Master's (2004) degree in Department of Condensed Matter Physics and Physics, Huazhong Normal University. He received a Ph.D. (2009) from the University of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2009-2011) and the Department of Physics (2009-2011) of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2009-2011) and the University of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Berkeley University of California and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (2011-2013) for postdoctoral research. (2015), Guangdong Province, "outstanding young teachers" (2015), Guangdong Province, "young top-notch talent" and the Shenzhen City "Peacock Plan" in Guangdong Province, as an associate professor to join the Southern University of Science and Technology Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Guangdong Province, "outstanding youth" (Selected by the International Materials Society (MRS), director of the Shenzhen Overseas High-level Talent Association, member of the Shenzhen Youth Science and Technology Association, and a member of the Southern Science and Technology University. More than 50 SCI papers (more than 10 factors with influence factors greater than 10), cited ~ 1000 times, H-index 19, including Nature Comm., Nano Lett., ACS Nano, Adv. Matter. , J. Am. Chem. Soc. Etc .; Now presided over and the main research countries, provincial and ministerial level, municipal level of all kinds of fund projects more than ten items, the total amount of the project more than 65 million yuan, of which the project group of nearly 18 million yuan. As a review expert, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as the Guangdong Province and Shenzhen Science and Technology Fund Project, is a long-term reviewer of the Nano Lett, ACS Nano, Adv. Mater. Elsevier - Journal of Science: Advanced Materials and Devices' editorial board.

Research Interest

The main research direction of the research group includes intelligent materials, energy materials, two-dimensional inorganic electronic materials and devices. Mainly include: 1) intelligent materials and structures based on the transformation of vanadium dioxide micro-nano materials: the preparation of intelligent materials, the response characteristics and characteristics such as near-field power meter, micro-brakes, infrared detectors, smart glass, etc .; 2) Energy materials: advanced micro-nano functional materials in the photodegradation of water hydrogen, energy storage materials (lithium-ion batteries and super capacitors) and intelligent windows energy-saving materials and other applications; new perovskite solar cell research and development and industrialization; Two-dimensional materials: the size of inorganic two-dimensional materials (large area single crystal, layer control, heterogeneous structure, low temperature flexible substrate direct growth, etc.), continuous green transfer technology and device applications. Nearly 5 years published more than 30 SCI papers, series of work by the United States Lawrence National Laboratory LBNL NEWs Center spoke highly of a number of well-known network technology media such as Science Daily, PHYS.ORG, Materials Views, Materials360online and other widely reported, show Young scientific research workers excellent scientific research and development potential.
