Biography
Fang Xinding,Associate Professor, Adjunct Faculty , Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, University of Houston, USA . In 2008 , he graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China with a bachelor's degree in geophysics. He received his Ph.D. in geophysics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2013 . 2016 exceptional selection of the country's 12th batch of "young people plan". He worked at the MIT Earth Energy Laboratory (postdoctoral) and Chevron Oil Company (research scientist). Has long been engaged in seismic exploration, acoustic logging, petrophysical and rock mechanics research, and the oil industry to maintain long-term research cooperation. So far, there is a US patent, Geophysics , Geophysical Journal International and other academic journals published nearly 20 papers, SEG / EAGE conference papers more than 20 articles.
