Biography
Prof. Fang Xuanli is the founder of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the founder and director of the nano-photoelectric and 3D nano-production technology lab of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prof. Fang Xuanli holds a bachelor's and master's degree from Nanjing University and a Ph.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles. Then at the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign, assistant professor, in 2011 to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Department of Mechanical Engineering engaged in micro-nano-related teaching and research. Prof. Fang Xuanlai published more than 100 papers in internationally renowned journals and received 11 patents, more than 11,000 times, including Science 3, Nature Materials 4. He is a reviewer of more than 50 international scientific journals, including "Science", "Nature - Material Science", "Nature - Nanotechnology" and so on. Professor Fang has 110 times in the international conference and research institutions to do the special report. The main research areas for the micro-nano advanced manufacturing and micro-nano photonics, including micro-stereolithography, display materials, nanoimprint and so on. Prof. Fang received a number of honors and awards, including: 2006 American Mechanical Engineers Association Pi Tau-Sigma Gold Award, 2007 MIT annual global 35 35 years of the top inventor award, in 2011 he as the first Chinese Was awarded the International Optical Committee Ernest Abbe Medal, elected in 2013 as the International Nano Manufacturing Association Fellow.
