Professor Guo Hongwei, Ministry of Education, "Yangtze River Scholars Program" Distinguished Professor, National Outstanding Youth Fund winner, Shenzhen City, the national leader, Peacock plans overseas high-level talent B; long engaged in plant molecular biology and genetics research, In the field of plant hormone biology has a deep knowledge. Which revealed a series of molecular and biochemical mechanisms of ethylene signal transduction of plant hormones. The protein degradation model and RNA degradation model of ethylene were the first in the world. It was revealed that ethylene and various plant hormones (auxin, jasmine, And other environmental issues ( Cell , Science , Nature , PNAS , Plant Cell and other international publications published 54 papers, authorized the invention patent 4; 2005 full-time home, Ren Peking University School of life science professor, doctoral tutor, to build a plant hormone signal transduction laboratory. Since 2016, he has been entrusted by the Southern University of Science and Technology to set up a plant and food research institute and has served as the director of the first institute. He has been responsible for "Plant Physiology", "Molecular Biology" undergraduate courses and "scientific practice Training "graduate course teaching work. He is currently the director of the Youth Work Committee of the Chinese Botanic Society, the deputy director of the Chinese Society for Plant Physiology and Plant Molecular Biology, and the executive director of the Chinese Crop Society. He is also an important member of the Chinese Academy of Cropics and other academic positions such as Mol Plant , PCP , JIPB and JGG . Members.
