Biography
Now working at the Southern University of Science and Technology Department of Finance, any visiting professor. Professor Liu engaged in the financial industry for nearly two decades, involved in business and two circles, with a wealth of diverse business experience. Professor Liu graduated from the Central Committee of Beijing Mission Committee in the early years of student education, in 1998 to join the US Wall Street Goldman Sachs Group. Goldman Sachs is a global leader in the financial industry. When the global financial market after the Asian financial crisis and the US long-term capital management fund collapse of the storm, as the company's risk department vice president, he participated in Goldman Sachs global risk monitoring and management. In 1999, Prof. Liu was transferred to Goldman Sachs Asia Risk Management and was appointed as the representative of Goldman Sachs on the Hong Kong Futures Exchange. In 2002, Prof. Liu joined BOC International with a group of Chinese colleagues who had a national presence on Wall Street. BOC International has become one of the earliest international investment banks in China. Professor Liu is responsible for the global risk management of BOCI, leading the company's risk management and its system construction. Professor Liu was transferred to BOC International Fixed Income and Structured Products Sales Manager, which was the main underwriter of HK $ 20 billion Hong Kong Government Bonds and 2005 European Investment Bank Bonds. In 2007, Prof. Liu created and easy to hold, which is a service platform for businessmen's financial and consultancy services to support cross-border business activities for Chinese and foreign clients. And easy to be a consultant to BNP Paribas. And easy to help a top international investment bank, the Chinese joint venture company for shareholders reorganization. And provides consultancy services for capital raising and project referral transactions for top international private equity, hedge funds and venture capital. On the other hand, Prof. Liu is committed to the basic theory of economics, finance and game theory. His academic papers are published in Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Banking and Finance. On the other hand, he is also actively involved in the application of finance and innovation and entrepreneurship research, he covers areas such as risk management, mergers and acquisitions, technological innovation and entrepreneurial finance. Professor Liu loves educational practice and is diligent in innovation. In its teaching practice to strive to meet the requirements of the times and advanced educational philosophy, and strive to classical theory and industry practice combined. From 1995 to 1998, Professor Liu taught at the City University of Hong Kong Business School. From 1986 to 1989, Professor Liu was an intern researcher and assistant researcher at the Institute of Science and Technology Policy and Management Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was also the editor of the journal Science. In the meantime, he participated in the National Science and Technology Commission of China's high-tech development zone research topics, the results of the project won the National Science and Technology Progress Award. Professor Liu has been taught by the game theory master, Nobel laureate Robert Aumann. Professor Liu obtained a Ph.D. in economics from the University of New York at Stony Brook in 1995. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from Beijing Institute of Technology in 1983.
