Biography
Dr. Liu Zhaojun joined the Southern University of Science and Technology as an assistant professor and associate researcher in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering since June 2017. Dr. Liu is a visiting professor at Carnegie Mellon University, SID Lifetime Member, SID Beijing Committee Technical Committee Member, IEEE Member, Guangdong Province "Pearl River Talent Program" fifth batch of innovative team core members. He currently published more than 60 papers and international conference papers, applied for 12 US patents, authorized seven, more than 60 Chinese patent applications, authorized more than 20, was invited to invite domestic and foreign conference report more than 30 field. Dr. Liu is one of the world's first scholars to study Micro-LED, a number of research results for the world's leading, including: the world's first full-color Micro-LED micro-projector, the highest 1700 PPI Micro-LED chip (to 2016), the first show Micro-LED AR wearing equipment. In 2011, Dr. Liu won the second prize of "Hong Kong University of Science and Technology HK $ million Venture Competition", and he was one of the founders of two LED-related companies. Dr. Liu's research interests include: Micro-LEDs, advanced display and VR / AR technology, massive transfer and advanced packaging technology, gallium nitride electronic devices and light-emitting devices, wearable devices.
