Rong Also Ming

Biography

Rong Yiming, December 1989 graduated from the University of Kentucky mechanical engineering, Doctorate. He was a former professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and was a Distinguished Professor of WPI for his outstanding research contributions. Is the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME Fellow). 2010-2015 Ren Tsinghua University machinery manufacturing professional professor. Dr. Rong also has research areas including precision machining technology; modeling and simulation of metal materials processing and optimization and manufacturing system production planning and tooling technology. Has hosted more than 50 scientific research projects, funded by the American Science Foundation, Air Force Basic Research, Energy and other federal agencies and major manufacturing companies (GM, Ford, Caterpillar, P & W, GE, Ingersoll, etc.) funding. After returning to host and participate in the Natural Science Foundation, 973, 863, the national major projects and industrial cooperation projects more than ten items. Published a total of two academic monographs, more than 300 technical papers, as well as the application of patents and so on.
