Biography
Tang Tao, male, Han nationality, born in May 1963, 1990 to participate in the work, doctor of science, Changjiang scholar professor, Chinese Academy of Sciences overseas well-known scholar, visiting professor of Peking University, American Society of Applied and Applied Mathematics (SIAM Fellow). Professor Tang Tao received a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Peking University in 1984 and a doctorate in mathematics from the University of Leeds in 1989. He was a professor at the University of Simon Fraser in Canada from 1990 to 1998. He joined the Hong Kong Baptist University in 1998, Professor of Mathematics. Professor Tang Tao was the Dean of the Department of Mathematics at the Hong Kong Baptist University, the Dean of the Graduate School, the Vice-Chancellor, Associate Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the Faculty of Science. May 2015 was appointed vice president of Southern Science and Technology Research.
