Biography
Wei Lu joined as Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, Southern University of Science and Technology, China in 2011. He received a bachelor in Chemistry from Sichuan University in 1995. In 1998, he received Master of Science from Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Ph.D. from Department of Chemistry, The University of Hong Kong in 2003. In 2004, he joined as Postdoctoral American California Institute of Technology.
Research Interest
Photoelectric functional materials based on small molecular metal organic complexes. The research contents include the design and synthesis of novel functional molecules , the relationship between electronic structure and intermolecular interactions with phosphorescence and semiconductivity, and the physical and chemical control from small molecules to supramolecular nanomaterials to hierarchical self-assembly into devices.
